Voice Assistant

BookingFlow has a voice skill for Amazon Alexa ("Alexa, open booking flow") and a matching Google Assistant action. Ask about today's arrivals and departures, look up a booking, check availability, hear your occupancy and revenue — and even create a simple booking by conversation. Both assistants use the same live park data as the app.

Linking your account

The first time you use the skill, it asks you to link your BookingFlow account:

  1. Open the skill (or action) and ask it anything — it replies with a linking prompt.
  2. Follow the link to the Link BookingFlow page and sign in with your BookingFlow email and password ("Sign in to connect your BookingFlow account to Alexa").
  3. Approve the link.

You only link once; after that, just ask.

What you can say

Today's arrivals

"Alexa, open booking flow … how many arrivals today?" "Who's checking in today?"

Replies: "You have {n} arrivals today. {guest name} in {accommodation} (Pitch {n})…" — or the good news: "You have no arrivals today."

Today's departures

"Who's leaving today?" · "How many departures today?" · "Check outs today?"

"…{guest} from {accommodation}…" — Alexa's card lists everyone.

Find a booking

"Tell me about the booking for Jane Smith." · "Look up John."

"{First} {Last} is booked in {accommodation}, Pitch {n}. Arriving {date}, departing {date}. {n} nights for {n} adults, {n} children, {n} infants." — with the total on the Alexa card.

Check availability

"Is a static caravan available next Saturday?" "Are any touring pitches free on the 14th?" · "What's available on the 21st?"

"Yes, you have {n} {type}s available on {date}." — or "Sorry, no {type} is available on {date}." It understands the accommodation types (touring pitch, tent pitch, motorhome pitch, static caravan, glamping pod, lodge, room) and their synonyms.

Your dashboard, spoken

"What's my occupancy?" · "How's business?" · "Give me a summary."

"Today you have {a} arrivals and {d} departures. Current occupancy is {x} out of {y} pitches, that's {r}%."

Revenue

"What's my revenue this month?" · "How much have I made this year?"

"Your revenue this month is £{amount} from {n} bookings." Ask by month, week or year.

Create a booking

"Create a booking." · "New booking." · "Book a guest."

The assistant walks you through it — arrival date, departure date, first name, last name, adults, children, infants — reads the booking back, and on your "yes" saves it with a booking reference.

Voice bookings are provisional

Bookings created by voice arrive as provisional (source: Voice, accommodation Unassigned) — finish the details in the app: pick the accommodation, price it, assign a pitch, contact the guest.

Tips

  • Say "help" any time for what's possible; "stop" ends the session.
  • The data is live — availability answers reflect your allocation this instant.
  • Voice is great for hands-busy moments: on the ride round, mid-cleanup, from the kitchen.
  • For anything complex (moving bookings, cancellations) use the app — the assistant deliberately keeps to safe, quick answers.
