Notifications

The notification bell in the top bar is where BookingFlow tells you what needs your attention. A red badge shows the unread count; clicking the bell opens the notification drawer.

New notifications also pop up briefly in the top-right corner of the screen — click one to jump straight to the booking it's about. Unread items are marked with a dot and bold titles; open the drawer and use Mark all as read to clear the list.

The morning digest

Every day at 7 AM (UK time) BookingFlow prepares your day:

  • Today's Arrivals — "…arrivals today: {guest names}…"
  • Today's Departures — who's leaving
  • Overdue Payments — "{n} bookings with outstanding balance totalling £{x}": confirmed bookings that have already arrived with money still owed

Most mornings you can skim the three notifications and know exactly what the day holds — the Dashboard then takes you through it.

Where notifications come from

Notifications are generated automatically by booking activity and the daily schedule — you don't configure them. They are in-app only: everything in the drawer also arrives by email to your account email where relevant (for example, new-booking emails are sent to every account user).
