Reports

The Reports page is a reporting assistant you talk to. Ask a question — in plain English — about your bookings, revenue or operations, and get a straight answer with a chart or table underneath. No report builder, no exports, no SQL.

Asking a question

Type into "Ask about your bookings, revenue, occupancy..." and press Enter (Shift+Enter for a new line). If you don't know where to start, the suggestion chips do:

  • "How did we do vs last year?"
  • "Which accommodation type brings the most revenue?"
  • "What's our average stay length?"
  • "Show me this month's occupancy"
  • "How many cancellations this year?"
  • "What's the electricity usage trend?"

The conversation keeps context: ask "and by month?" afterwards and it knows what "and" means.

What you can ask

Anything answerable from your bookings data:

  • Counts and revenue — totals, averages, by date range, month, or year
  • Comparisons — "this June vs last June", "2025 vs 2024"
  • Breakdowns — by accommodation type, by month, by status, by source, by cancellation reason, by payment type
  • Top performers — best-selling months, highest-revenue accommodation types
  • Occupancy and pricing — daily or monthly occupancy, average prices paid
  • Stay behaviour — average stay length, party sizes, guests
  • Meter data — electricity usage trends

Answers come back as a short plain-English summary plus a visual — a bar chart, line chart, pie chart (with percentages and a legend) or a table — titled and ready to read.

How it works (and what it can't do)

The assistant queries your live site data through a fixed set of tools — bookings queries, groupings, period comparisons, top-N rankings and occupancy. It reads your data; it never changes anything. If your question isn't answerable from bookings or meter readings — say, website traffic — it'll tell you rather than invent numbers.

tip

For month-over-month trend watching, keep your questions dated and specific ("revenue by month for 2026") — the answers are consistent and comparable.

Examples from real parks

  • "How did we do vs last year?" — a comparison with the percentage and absolute change, green if you're up.
  • "Which accommodation type brings the most revenue?" — a ranked bar chart, so you know what to push.
  • "Show me this month's occupancy" — the month so far, day by day.
  • "What's our average stay length?" — plus, follow up with "…and by accommodation type?"
