Import Your Existing Data
BookingFlow can import your existing data from CSV files — historic bookings, prices and allocation, and accommodation types. You'll use the same importer whether you're in the setup wizard or importing later from Account → Data Import.
Choose what you're importing
At Account → Data Import, pick a file type:
- Bookings — your historic bookings
- Prices and Allocation — nightly prices and capacity per accommodation type
- Accommodation Types — your accommodation catalogue
The four-step import
- Download — click Download Template to get the CSV template
(
booking.csvfor Bookings and Accommodation Types, allocation.csvfor Prices and Allocation). - Fill In — open the template, add your historic data, and save the file.
Dates use the format
yyyy-mm-dd. - Upload — click Upload File or drag and drop your CSV into the drop
zone ("Click to choose a file" / "or drag and drop your CSV here"). Only
.csvfiles are accepted. - Done — "Your data is now importing and should be available shortly."
You'll see "File uploaded successfully" when the upload is accepted. The import finishes in the background; your bookings appear on the Calendar and in the Bookings list when it completes.
If something goes wrong
The importer validates your CSV column by column before uploading. If a column is missing, misnamed, or contains a badly formatted value, you'll see an error listing the exact column to fix. Common fixes:
- Dates must be
yyyy-mm-dd(for example2026-07-18) - Every required column from the template must be present
- Don't rename the template's column headers
Once the errors are fixed, re-upload — the import is safe to retry.
The accommodation-types import uses the booking.csv template and the same
validation schema. Make sure the group values match BookingFlow's groups
(Tent, Room, Tourer, Motorhome, Static).
