Airbnb

Airbnb works differently from Pitchup: instead of an API, your Airbnb booking confirmation emails do the work. Once your email is connected, BookingFlow reads each new confirmation email and creates the booking — guest, dates, party and all. No more copying Airbnb bookings across by hand.

Connecting Airbnb​

  1. Connect your email (Account → Email) so Airbnb confirmation emails arrive in the Communications inbox. That's the data source.
  2. Open Account → Airbnb and create your Accommodation Mappings: for each Airbnb Listing Name you own, choose the BookingFlow accommodation type it maps to. Save Mappings.
  3. From then on, every new Airbnb confirmation email becomes a confirmed booking (source chip: Airbnb).

Mapping options​

  • Decrement — tick this when the listing shares inventory with your direct bookings. The Airbnb booking then counts against your allocation for those nights, exactly as a portal booking would. Leave it off for listings that sell separate stock (like an off-site property).
  • Saving with Decrement on also retro-updates existing Airbnb bookings to the mapped accommodation.

Unmapped listings​

When a listing appears in your email with no mapping, it surfaces in the Unmapped Listings panel — the listing name, the most recent guest, and a Map button that pre-fills a mapping row for you. Map it once; every future booking for that listing flows correctly.

Backfilling history​

Scan Existing Emails (Scan for Airbnb Bookings) walks your already-synced email and creates bookings for every historical Airbnb confirmation — without duplicating bookings you already have. Use it right after connecting to bring your season into the system in one go.

How it flows​

  1. Guest books on Airbnb → Airbnb emails you a confirmation.
  2. Email sync (every ten minutes) ingests the email.
  3. BookingFlow parses it, applies your mapping, and creates the booking — allocation decremented if you ticked Decrement.
  4. If the listing isn't mapped, you get a notification and it waits in the Unmapped Listings panel.
