Asana
Asana is the task manager behind BookingFlow's Tasks page. Connect it once and your to-dos live in both places — create a turnaround checklist in BookingFlow, and staff working from Asana see it; complete it there, and it's ticked here.
Plan
The Asana integration is not part of the minimal plan — see Plans.
Connecting Asana
- Open Account → Asana and follow the setup steps shown on the page: they walk you through creating an app in the Asana Developer Console with the redirect URI the page displays, and having an administrator set the Firebase secrets.
- Press Connect to Asana and complete Asana's consent.
- Back in BookingFlow, pick your Workspace and then the Project you want to work from, and press Link Project.
The page now shows Connected — Asana, the linked project chip and the last sync time.
What you get
- Tasks page — the full shared to-do list: sync, create, complete, filter. See Tasks.
- Create from anywhere — when something comes up in the middle of the working day (a broken shower, a delivery), add it with a name, notes, due date, assignee and section, without switching tools.
- Two-way sync — tasks created in BookingFlow appear in Asana with the same details, and completing either side marks both.
Buttons on the Account page
- Sync Now — pulls the latest tasks from Asana on demand.
- Disconnect — removes the link (you'll be asked to confirm). Reconnecting later just repeats the steps above.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Tasks page says "Connect your Asana account" | Not connected — follow the setup above |
| New tasks from Asana not appearing | Press Sync Now on the Tasks page (live updates resume after the first sync) |
| Wrong project linked | Disconnect and re-connect, choosing the right workspace and project |
