Caravan Stock

Caravan Stock is the inventory of static caravans your park owns — stock you've bought to sell or place on pitches. Header: Manage your caravan inventory — track make, model, dimensions, and assignments.

Summary chips tell the story at a glance: {n} in stock, {n} available, {n} assigned, {n} removed.

Plan

Caravan Stock is not part of the minimal plan — see Plans.

Adding a caravan

Fill in what you know — only Make and Model are required:

  • Make*, Model*, Year
  • Purchase Price (for example £12,000)
  • Length (ft) and Width (ft)
  • Max Sleeping Capacity
  • Notes

Press Add Caravan ("Caravan added to stock").

Current Stock

The table shows Make, Model, Year, Dimensions (35′ × 12′ style), Price, Sleeps, Status and actions:

Status chipMeaning
Available (green)In stock, not on a pitch
Assigned / Pitch {number} (blue)Placed on an owner's pitch — assigned via the Owners register
Removed (pink)Taken out of stock; record kept for reference

Actions per row:

  • Edit — update any of its details.
  • Remove from stock — for non-assigned caravans, with a Removal Date (today by default). "The record will be kept for reference."

Removed from Stock

The removed section keeps history: Make, Model, Year, Price, Removed Date and a Reinstate button that returns the caravan to Available (and clears the removal date). Nothing is ever lost.

How stock, owners and pitches fit together

  1. A caravan arrives — add it to Caravan Stock (Available).
  2. It's sold to an owner — adding the owner in the Owners register and picking the caravan from the dropdown assigns it (status: Pitch {number}).
  3. The owner leaves — the leaving date passes and the caravan is freed back to Available for its next owner.
  4. A caravan is sold off-park — Remove from stock (record kept).

If you're buying stock, the Caravans marketplace shows live listings from UK dealers and estimates fair prices.
