Pitch Management
Pitches are the individual, numbered units your park is physically made of — pitch 12, the blue pod, row 3. Account → Pitch Management is where you create and maintain them. Pitches power the Pitch Map: guests get assigned to a specific pitch, and occupancy on the map is calculated from those assignments.
Each pitch belongs to one accommodation type — create your accommodation types first (Account → App Setup) or the page will prompt you to.
Adding a pitch
- Choose the Accommodation Type.
- Enter the Pitch Number — anything works: "1", "A", "101".
- Set the Status: Active or Maintenance.
- Press the + button.
The new pitch appears in the list under its accommodation type. It's also immediately available on the Pitch Map for layout and assignment.
Editing and deleting
- Edit (pencil) — change the type, number, status, or add Notes (for example "corner plot, hard standing only"). Save your changes.
- Delete (× icon) — confirm the deletion. Pitches are soft-deleted, so history stays intact for reference.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning on the Pitch Map |
|---|---|
| Active | Normal, bookable pitch |
| Maintenance | Out of service — shown grey on the map, not assignable |
When you need Pitch Management
- First setup — after creating accommodation types, enumerate your pitches. The Pitch Map's Edit Layout can also add pitches directly onto the map.
- Seasonal maintenance — mark a pitch Maintenance while it's out of action, then reactivate it when it's back.
- Renumaming / reorganising — after you renumber rows or split a pitch, update it here so the map and bookings stay aligned.
Static caravans
For static caravan ownership, pitches are usually created automatically when you add an owner — see the Owners register.
